I cant get mine to connect to my new controller at all, I followed this to the T but mine just keeps beeping for like 60 seconds then nothing. the app won't update any firmware either I got like 1019 for RC and 1019C for RC relay and my camera and vision show as N/A. it feels like fimi intentionally messed up the 2020 to get people to buy the 2022.

did they kill support for the 2020 fimi x8 se? the app runs on my android I got picture from my drone camera but nothing else works the lights are red on the remote for bad connection, I go into firmware and my RC firmware is 1019 and my RC relay firmware is 1019C but theres no updates except for a no fly zone thing but when I click update it just says something about no camera, which my camera firmware shows as N/A

Do you still have your Autels? Did they ever fix the crabbing issues, with Firmware updates? I have several DJI drones, AIR 2S, Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, AIR 3 & FPV Drone. I just bought the Evo Lite + Premium Bundle & im contemplating sending it back. I wanted a non Geofenced drone, with a decent quality camera. But I've heard a lot of nightmare stores about Autels customer service, being pretty much non-existent. I would hate to open it up, & have my drone have issues that Autel wont help with.

Great video Chris. Wouldn't have been able to repair my gimbal cable without it. The only problem is that I tore the barometer cable in the process! Do you know where I can get one? I've tried Hubsan & Ali Express with no luck.

My Avata 2 drone lost connection to my goggles and it landed on its own right where it lost the signal instead of RTH. I walked to where I last saw it flying and luckily it connected back to the goggles when I got 1/4 mile away from it. It was a relief to find it. I would walk the grass between your car and that grassy area.

Damn! That, drifting right, was happening to me with EVO 2 6K Enterprise about a year ago. I checked the log for the flight and it showed no joy stick input. I figured it was a GPS problem because the mountain behind me was blocking half the sky even though it has been rock steady for 25 minutes going up and down that same mountain until the end. Weird.

Can I change the arm only without having to take it all to bits?

We shouldn`t be too demanding from them, as Autel Evo drones are very good, and they do such a great job, it doesn`t matter the model or version. Overall, nice job with the test and feedback provided.

Hey mate, I just made my first flight with my zino and have some difficulties. It is my second Zino, the first one I had around 2020. This one was technically ok, then I made the firmware updates (all without problems) and then after starting / powering up the drone the gimbal makes strange sounds keeping the camera pointed up and it just only stop these noises and centers the camera when I move the copter a bit. Do you know that problem? Not the same as in your video here but I saw alot of vidz from you over the time with alot of zino stuff so I hope I have luck :-) Would be happy about any hints. Chris, thanks for your excellent repai on my Exo mini pro. It was very reasonable and finished quicker than I expected.

I'm arriving a bit late but I have a Zino 2+, do you know whether this same recovery firmware would work on that to get it going? I've emailed Hubsan requesting that firmware in case this one isn't the same but no response, and the firmware downloads I see on their site for the Zino 2+ don't reflect anything like that as far as I can tell.

Mine just has a tiny minor collision with a wall for the first time legit wasn’t about 2ft from the ground going 0.5mph and rammed itself into the wall cracking the right front arm 😭 4 day old drone first crash not even bad and that happens

Chris, thanks so much for this, I’ve just tried it by turning up the gain and it worked. Mine was on the rc pro, i’ll try the rc in good time. I used +9 gain which seemed okay, quite high in fact for my system, but i’m using the mic2 system so maybe that’s why +10 was ample, no pun …. I’ll mess around with the gain to find the best setting for my gear. Thanks again Chris, this is why I love watching YT, well, for the most part! 👏
